We are currently recruiting, for integration in our internal team/client, professionals with the following profile:
Senior Data Engineer Officer (m/f) – Hybrid (Porto)
What do you need to have:
Hard Skills:
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a technical major, such as engineering, computer science, or a related field. A master’s in a relevant field is a plus.
• 6+ years experience as a Data Engineer.
• Deep understanding of the software development cycle (development, deployment & support of large-scale data lake / warehouse / Mesh).
• Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with programming languages – Python, Scala/PySpark are a plus.
• Strong ability to manipulate, transform, and clean large and complex data sets. Experience with data wrangling, ETL processes and reporting solutions – Alteryx is plus.
• Knowledge in data mesh concepts/tools and implementation is preferred - Starburst and Trino.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically, analyse complex problems, and derive actionable insight from data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and collaborate with individuals from diverse backgrounds and areas of expertise. Experience in an international team is a plus.
